The Trail Runner Free Ultra is the top model of our Trail Runner
Free series, it is a powerful and flexible headlamp for all lovers
to run a lot and for a long time. The characteristics and light pattern of the headlamp are
optimized for running. With Trail Runner Free Ultra you get both
the powerful 4.0Ah battery, as well as the flexible hybrid battery case.

Our classic running lamp Trail Runner now comes in a new vintage. With fifth generation of Trail Runner, we present a new technology there the power cable is integrated and sewn into the headband. We call this Free Technology – a headlamp experience without disturbing cords.

Long-range battery and hybrid battery case
Choosing you Trail Runner Free Ultra you get both the rechargeable the long-distance battery (4.0Ah) and the hybrid battery case. It gives you the possibility of taking the powerful battery when you go out longer trips, or switch to the flexible hybrid battery case with AAA batteries if you are going out on a shorter tour. Of course you can too complete with the convenient rechargeable 1.25Ah hybrid battery.

The hybrid battery case has grippy surfaces and an integrated red safety light - which contributes to extra visibility.

Long range battery
Beyond You get the hybrid battery case that offers several battery options with the Trail Runner Free Ultra a rechargeable 4.0Ah long-range battery, placed in a soft case that can be attached to several different ways. The 4.0 battery is perfect for getting extra battery time at long runs. The battery has a 4-step battery indicator and is charging with the included USB cable.

Pleasant and powerful light
Running has been in focus in the development of every little detail on these headlamps. All models in the Trail Runner Free series are equipped with Silva Intelligent Light. This means that the headlamp has double light sources so you get both strong lighting in the long term, as well as a soft and pleasant lighting where you put your feet down. It results in one more extensive lighting and less head movement when you run as hard as you can focus on your run. With Silva Intelligent Light you also reduce the risk of exhaustion and tension headaches due to a shaky light image.

Comfort in every detail
Although Trail Runner Free is best known for the innovation with Free Technology so we have not forgetting the most basic – weight and ergonomic fit. Each component of the headlamp has been optimized and the lamp unit itself, including the headband, weighs only 55 grams. Even when you use it the heaviest long-distance battery that comes with the Trail Runner Free Ultra, so
the weight will not be more than 141 grams. Trail Runner Free is easy and well balanced, with flexible adjustment possibilities and a flat, soft tangle-free extension cord. The headband is soft but fits firmly in place thanks to a thin silicone string on the inside of the headband. The battery can be easily mounted on the headband or held warm in your pocket to maximize battery life by using it included extension cable.
