Touring skis for juniors

Mountain Race Junior is a thoroughbred touring ski for the little ones. A ski with a ¾ steel edge that guarantees good grip on hard surfaces. The trap lock for short traps gives the rider a good grip and ensures a good mood throughout the ride. The ski has a good cut, a perfect ski for a fun ride on the mountain.

Choose the right length

Ski length is determined based on body weight and height. The table is only a guide, but experience, skill, terrain and individual needs can all influence your choice of length.

For beginners, short skis are easier to control. If you mainly ride trails, length is not the most important factor. To float well in deep snow, a lighter and wider ski is useful. Lighter skiers may consider a shorter ski; heavier skiers a longer ski. Skiers with loads such as backpacks and sleds may consider a longer ski.

Excerpt from rental rules:

§ 19. Touring skis must be returned without an attachment wall on the surface, if this is not done the renter will be charged SEK 400 for cleaning. If the surface has been roughened for the attachment wall to attach, the renter will be charged for the corresponding new ski as it is deemed unusable in Outdoor Buddies' normal operations.
